- Banned Substances and Banned Methods
See rule 5. This appendix shall not be changed by the racing
instructions or prescriptions by national authorities. When
governmental requirements conflict with parts of it, those
requirements apply.
Introduction
Doping is the taking or using by a competitor of a substance
or a method banned by the ISAF. Doping is governed by rule
5, this appendix, and the
ISAF Medical Lists (containing the official lists of doping
classes and methods, medicines that may be taken, and laboratories
accredited for doping control) and Doping Control Procedures
(the medical procedures leaflet). These publications, doping
control forms and the ISAF schedule of penalties are available
from ISAF to national authorities and competitors on request
