How to setup Netscape messenger for using with your alacati.com e-mail?

Netscape Messenger is a mail reader from Netscape. If you want to, you may download Netscape Messenger as a part of Netscape Navigator package here.

In the following example, user Windsurf Guru is applied for the account name guru. Therefore his/her assigned e-mail address is guru@alacati.com.

Step 1:

After running Netscape Messenger, select Preferences.... from the Edit menu.

Step 2:

From the left pane, select Identity. In the right pane, enter your name in the Your Name: field (Windsurf Guru in our example) and your user name followed by @alacati.com in the Email address: field. (guru@alacati.com in our example)

Step 3:

Select Mail Server from the left pane. Enter your user name in the Mail server user name: field (guru in our example). For both Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: and Incoming mail server:, enter mail.alacati.com then press OK.

Congratulations. Your setup is complete. You may receive e-mail by clicking on Get Msg button.
